FAQs & Contact Us

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located just off Rte. 12, one half hour north of Utica (exit #31 on the NYS Thruway), half way between Utica and Old Forge

Q: How's the food?
A: We've become famous for the delicious, gourmet breakfasts we provide. Every breakfast includes a choice of hot and cold beverages, fresh fruit, a breakfast meat, and homemade pastries. Entrees vary between special egg dishes or pancakes, crepes, or waffles. With advance notice, we're happy to offer special meals for those who are lactose intolerant, gluten-free, vegetarian, or need to avoid fats. We also always have oatmeal and cold cereals available. We're happy to provide additional meals, on request, at an additional fee.

Q: What "extras" do we provide?
A: Snacks, fresh fruit, and soft drinks are available to guests at all times. Guests are also welcome to use our kitchen if they wish to fix meals for themselves other than the breakfast that's provided. The Gathering Room (42" HD TV w/cable, DVD, CD, tape player, books, magazines, board games,wi-fi, and woodstove in the cold months) welcomes guests at all times. The large park-like backyard offers lounging areas, garden, campfire pit, BBQ grill, picnic table, and lawn games in the warmer months. In the winter, the hills are a great spot for tubing and tobogganing. We have sports equipment free for guests to borrow--2 bikes, a canoe, and a kayak and snow tube and toboggans in the winter.

Having 2 overly-friendly dogs of our own (we keep them separated from guests unless guests WISH to visit with them) we're welcoming to folks traveling with their pets.
